European Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration Marcus Brunner hailed Citywest as a ‘best practice’ example for International Protection applicants. Speaking at a joint press conference with Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan, Brunner also said Ireland is ‘very well’ placed to adopt the Migration and Asylum Pact.
