The Crisis of Legitimacy in Ireland a Modest Proposal

The modern Republic of Ireland, a rump state holdover from centuries of British rule and still missing six of its traditional 32 counties, is in crisis. Prominent Irish-American Michael Walsh, who has restored his family’s property in County Clare and lives there today, outlines a solution: the worldwide Irish Diaspora must retake control of the State on behalf of the Nation.
