Another €125 MILLION for Ukraine!! While Irish Families Face a Tough Budget

Four years after Ireland opened its doors under “temporary protection,” the bills are still rising, the schemes keep being extended—and Irish taxpayers are still being told not to ask awkward questions.

Just days before the Government warns us to brace for a tough budget, Taoiseach Micheál Martin flies to Kyiv and announces another €125 MILLION of Irish taxpayers’ money for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, here at home, anger is growing over welfare access, State-funded accommodation, medical cards, higher-education supports, foreign-registered vehicles, host payments—and even hundreds of thousands spent dealing with Ukrainian pets.

In this video, I examine the viral €616.60 welfare receipt, the original policy of assessing new arrivals’ means at nil, the special supports introduced since 2022, and the complete lack of any believable off-ramp.

Of course, many Ukrainians genuinely fled a brutal war, came to Ireland and worked hard. But are we seriously expected to believe that nobody examined the generous packages offered across Europe and deliberately chose Ireland because it offered the best deal?

The Government built the gravy train. Opportunists climbed aboard. And the Irish taxpayer was ordered to pay the fare—and keep quiet.

Temporary protection? Extended.
Temporary accommodation? Extended.
Temporary payments? Extended.

When the Irish Government tells you something is temporary—hide your wallet.

Let me know what you think in the comments. Has Ireland’s humanitarian response become an open-ended entitlement system—and are Irish taxpayers being taken for fools?
