Aontรบ candidate calls to eliminate VAT on building materials

Aontú’s Dublin-Central by-election candidate, Ian Noel Smyth, says that as an architect, he’s an expert in housing, and that “none of the other candidates can say that”.

If elected, he’d push to end VAT on building materials to cut construction costs.
