Contact me for Storytelling / Historical talks</p> <p>Since I started this channel in 2021, the story of Brian Boru was one I desperately wanted to film. The delay in getting it made is Brian is such a major force in Irish history and so important to me on a personal level that I didn’t want to just throw something together.</p> <p>It was important to make it to as many important locations to Brian’s life as possible for the video. I don’t believe in taking shortcuts with Irish stories so I knew I needed to get transport to holy Island and try to make this an immersive experience for you. I’d appreciate if you could tell me if I succeeded?</p> <p>The timing for this video was set by a dear friend’s suggestion that I film about Brian because of the new bridge at Killaloe that opened yesterday. I believe in signs and took that to mean it was time to tell this story, especially considering how stunning the weather has been the last few weeks.</p> <p>This video only covers small parts of Brian’s life but I am excited to revisit this fascinating figure in future videos.</p> <p>Thanks to Michael Casey for the dedication, creativity and passion behind the camera.
