The future of Dublin’s O’Connell Street has been in the headlines recently, including Government-approved plans to redevelop the GPO for mixed-use.
This would see the iconic building revamped to include cultural, retail and office elements.
Aontú are planning a protest next week against the plans, which they believe would turn the GPO into a “cheap, tawdry commercial centre”.
