Conor McGregor: MMA fighter, alleged rapist, Ireland’s next president?

Conor McGregor was once the biggest Mixed Martial Arts fighter in the world – a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight and Lightweight Champion. Now, he’s turning to politics. For St Patrick’s day he visited President Donald Trump in the White House and her says he wants to be the next Irish president, on a hard right anti-immigration ticket. Last year a woman who accused him of raping her won damages in a civil court. Mr McGregor maintains his innocence and launched an appeal, which concluded today.
