Dr Gabriel Scally on the Cervical Check Report & the Changes Needed in Healthcare November 24, 2022 Admin Healthcare, Irish News </p> <h2>Dr Gabriel Scally to discuss his final report into the Cervical Check scandal.</h2> <p> Claire Brock is joined by Dr Gabriel Scally to discuss his final report into the Cervical Check scandal.</p> <p>Dr Scally tells Claire that by law there is a prohibition to complaining about clinical care.</p> <p>He tells Claire this “has to be changed.”</p> <p>Dr Scally believes that High Court proceedings into clinical care could be stopped if the HSE told patients the absolute truth; if there are mistakes made, make a genuine apology and make sure you explain what will be done to make sure no more mistakes will be made.</p> <p>Claire points out that there are members of the 221+ group who believe they have been treated like “lepers” due to speaking out.
