Dublin flood chaos as Storm Chandra leaves THOUSANDS without power across Ireland

Ireland is under a Met Eireann weather warning now as powerful Storm Chandra makes landfall.

The wicked weather is bringing gusts of up to 120kmh, falls of snow and heavy rain – with some 20,000 people already without power, falls of snow in some areas and a number of communities cut off by flooded roads.

A river burst its banks in the Irish town of Enniscorthy as footage taken from atop Enniscorthy Castle by tour guide Emmet Lawlor shows the flooding, after the River Slaney overflowed.
