Residents in Dublin voiced mixed opinions on Monday (December 1) after the city council cancelled a vote on renaming Herzog Park in the Rathgar district.
The park is named after former Israeli president Chaim Herzog, who spent part of his childhood in Dublin.
A motion to change the name was tabled in response to the ongoing war in Gaza, but councillors decided on Sunday (November 30) not to proceed with the vote.
