DUBLIN SHOOTING – KNOWN CRIMINAL CHASED BY THUGS AND SHOT AT CHINESE TAKEAWAY
IRELAND – Known criminal (41), received a suspected gunshot wound to the arm outside a Chinese takeaway in Corduff, near Blanchardstown on Tuesday afternoon.
It is understood that young thugs, believed to be connected to murder victim Jason Hennessy Sr, targeted the criminal and his associate in a broad daylight attack.
Sources say the thug and his associate – who was recently caught up in stabbing on a Dublin Bus and spilled out onto the street, were targeted by the Hennessy mob.
It is understood the shot man managed to flee while being injured, into a house connected to him in the area. He and his associate were chased, before managing to evade their attackers, sources say.
