In this video, my friend Tom and I visit Eoghan Daltun, rewilder, sculptor, and author of ‘An Irish Atlantic Rainforest’. After reading his powerful book, we sought him out at the launch of his second, and were fortunate enough to be invited to see the forest he’s helped restore.

We explore the inspiring story of how degraded farmland was transformed into a thriving, self-seeding native woodland—free from overgrazing and invasive species. Eoghan shares his philosophy on rewilding, the challenges he’s faced, and the hope this forest offers for the future of Irish biodiversity.
