SuperValu became the latest major retailer to drop the price of their own-brand milk products yesterday, following reductions made by other supermarkets this weekend amid rising food prices.
Five major retailers now have two litres of their own-brand milk on shelves for €2.35, and one litre on sale for €1.19.
