Government’s new housing plan heavily criticised in the Dáil

Housing Minister James Browne unveiled the government’s new housing plan ‘Delivering Homes, Building Communities’ alongside Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Tanaiste Simon Harris today, with the plan aiming to deliver 300,000 new homes by 2030. During today’s Leaders’ Questions in Dáil Éireann however, the document was heavily criticised by opposition TD’s including Sinn Féin’s Eoin Ó Broin, Labour’s Conor Sheehan, Cian O’Callaghan from the Social Democrats and Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín in front of Fine Gael leader Simon Harris.
