It was a huge weekend for Irish motorsport at Mondello Park, as Round 1 of the Irish Drift Series drew crowds of over 16,000 people and thousands more watching online around the world.
And flying the flag for Clare in style were two brothers from Miltown Malbay — Niall and Jason McInerney — who both delivered standout performances.
Niall secured second place in the semi-pro competition on Saturday, while Jason matched that result in the pro competition on Sunday, against some of the best drivers in the country.
