Today I take a look at the devastating news that nine year old Harvey Morrison Sherratt passed away on July 29th, 2025. His short life was full of broken promises and neglect at the hands of our health service, and our government who backs them up.
I take a look at those responsible for the failures Harvey and his family endured. I take a look at RTÉ, our national broadcaster who took two weeks to comment on his death. I look at Children’s Health Ireland and their failures. And I take a long look at our Government who have gone silent on this issue, and Minister For Finance Paschal Donohoe who defended the indefensible.
I look at the soundbite machine himself, An Tánaiste Simon Harris, the man who lied to children and their families everywhere when he promised that no child would wait longer than 4 months for spinal surgery. His lies, empty soundbites and broken promises have led to widespread anger and relentless calls for his resignation.
