Health minister Mike Nesbitt has apologised for the care received by a stage 4 cancer patient who was treated on the floor for more than two days at Altnagelvin Hospital.
Ernie Irvine, 55, spoke to The Irish News this week about the “turmoil” he witnessed in the emergency department of the hospital while awaiting an operation last week.
