A fuel protest is continuing on the M7 in Limerick.

Around 80 trucks and lorries were parked on the motorway overnight near Junction 29 at Ballysimon.

A number of agricultural contractors drove their tractors onto the motorway to join the protest this morning.

They said they are willing to move their vehicles if the Government reduces the price of fuel by cutting taxes.
