The UK government is due to reveal a major shake up of asylum policy later this month and their inspiration comes from Denmark.
Copenhagen’s policy is among the toughest in Europe pushing claims to their lowest in 40 years.
Would-be asylum seekers must be in full time employment and pass a Danish language test, while 95% of those who don’t meet the criteria get deported.
