IRELAND – government pushing “toy libraries” for kids; while almost 5,000 children remain homeless
The latest initiative from the Irish government is to set up “toy libraries” where children can borrow and return toys in exchange for a “new” one. This is promoting sustainability and helping to save the planet, in their eyes. The housing emergency is causing panic in the government, so the drive towards setting up modular home “neighbourhoods” is now on. Temporarily of course, until they build permanent homes.
