Ireland: Man Stripped and Beaten in Daylight Attack by Foreign Gang in Cork City Centre

IRELAND – A man was stripped and beaten in a daylight attack in Cork city centre. The victim’s clothes and shoes were thrown into the River Lee.

Footage of the incident, which took place on Wednesday afternoon, shows two men jumping out of a car on St Patrick’s Quay in Cork city centre and attacking a man who had been walking down the street. A third man joined in.

The victim can be seen falling to the ground and the initial attacker then removes the victim’s shoes and trousers before throwing them into the river.

Both attackers then returned to the car, which had been left running in the middle of the road.
