Renters could be offered thousands of euro by landlords to leave their homes early as new reforms come into effect next month, agents have said.
New rules mean renters who sign agreements after March 1 will be entitled to six-year tenancies, and small landlords would also be banned from putting their properties up for sale without tenants being left in situ.
Property agents say this move could devalue properties by as much as 30pc and make them less attractive to buyers.
