Major Rental Reforms Approved: What Tenants and Landlords Need to Know

The Cabinet has signed off major reforms to the rental sector. The changes introduce a minimum lease of six years and cap rent increases at 2% per year. Landlords will have the right to re-set the rent if a lease is broken or if the property is let for the first time.
