Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald and Taoiseach Micheál Martin got caught in a heated exchange over the latest RTÉ controversy during Leaders’ Questions this afternoon.
Martin said the Government could not spend RTÉ’s money on its behalf, but there “needs to be true transparency.”
Mary Lou McDonald had earlier complained about RTÉ being allocated “nearly three-quarters of a billion in taxpayers’ money” as a “bailout”.
