Meet Dublin ladies football star Niamh Hetherton
At just 24 years of age, Niamh Hetherton is facing her fifth All-Ireland final this Sunday when the Dubs take on rivals Meath.
She sat down with Alanna Cunnane to talk about the demands of playing both football and camogie, the new rules she’d like to see in ladies Gaelic football, getting over the hurt of defeat to Galway in 2024 and what it’s like coming from a sports-mad house.
She also talks about what life has been like in the post Mick Bohan era and explains why she won’t be joining the player exodus to Australia.
