Taoiseach Micheál Martin confirmed a series of new government appointments in Dáil Éireann today following the exit of Minster for Finance Paschal Donohoe.
Tanaiste Simon Harris steps into the finance brief, with Helen McEntee replacing him as Minister for Foreign Affairs. Galway TD Hildegarde Naughton is the new Minister for Education, Emer Higgins has been promoted to the role as Minister for Disability at the Department of Children, Disability and Equality while Frank Feighan takes on Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation.
