NEW RESEARCH Revisits The ANCIENT DNA From NEWGRANGE

A few years ago an ancient DNA analysis carried out on a bone from the Newgrange megalithic passage tomb in Ireland suggested that its owner had belonged to a dynastic elite. However, a new paper published in the journal Antiquity argues that this was not the case after all and is based on many assumptions about hierarchical systems in the ancient past.
