A new plan to strengthen the teaching, learning and use of the Irish language in schools has been announced.
The supports provided will include language support hours, additional resources and teacher learning opportunities.
Minister for Education Helen McEntee says the action plan’s goal is for children to “experience Irish as a living language outside of the classroom”.
