Yesterday was a very wet day we managed to do 2 hours work and put on the second chimney cap.
Dessie & Francis & myself gave up as it was cold and wet, today was the same so just did a short video clip. 🙂
We have a set up a GoFundMe to support our Irish cottage build as currently we can’t work as I need a knee replacement after this cottage renovation, my knee has been locking up and pain bone on bone, shock when I go from sitting to getting up and bending or stepping.
We also care full time for our Son Jacob as he has severe mental health, he’s been in our care for 14 years, it’s not easy and have had no respite in all this time, we moved here for a more peaceful life but need to finish the cottage or we are in big troubles.
We worry for ourselves and and our Jacob so have to complete of we will lose out on the derelict grant.
Sorry to be so negative but that’s just how it is right now, we still have money and hope we can get by its food, bills etc eating into our funds while no income is coming in is very difficult to say least , obviously also made harder as we didn’t envisage extra costs with the asbestos roof, rebuild of stacks and driveway has eaten a big chunk.
