Actor Rex Ryan received the seal of approval from Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch (62) after giving him a taste of the one-man play he inspired.
Ryan (35) is taking his passion project on the notorious gangland figure from Dublin’s Glass Mask Theatre for a six-night run at The Ambassador Theatre in the capital.
It is particularly timely given that Hutch has signalled he will contest the Dublin Central by-election, having narrowly missed out on the fourth seat in October’s general election.
