Farming between Four Roads and Athleague in Co. Roscommon is James Fitzmaurice.
James is farming in partnership with his father Willie and the duo run a suckler to beef operation in conjunction with a flock of mid-season lambing ewes.
Progeny from both the suckler herd and the flock are all brought through to finish on the farm.
James Fitzmaurice is one of the young farmers involved in the 2026 edition of the Kepak Young Farmer Forum.
