Johnny Sexton is expecting the Lions to rise to the occasion in Brisbane tomorrow. The former Ireland captain was speaking after Andy Farrell’s men conducted their final training session of the week at Suncorp Stadium, the venue where he became a Lions Test player 12 years’ ago. Sexton says that Farrell has prepared the players for the intensity of the occasion, with the venue now sold out and thousands of fans evident around the city today as the Lions prepare to play a Test in front of a crowd for the first time since 2017.
