A series of weather warnings remain in place on Saturday for Storm Amy after it made a significant impact nationwide on Friday.
Tragically, a man died as a result of a weather-related incident in Donegal, while hundreds of thousands of people were left without electricity due to the damage caused by severe wind and rain.
Dozens of flights were cancelled in and out of the country, with further cancellations and delays expected on Saturday until the worst of the storm clears.
