The Gravediggers Pub, Dublin – Home of Ireland’s PERFECT pint of GUINNESS (John Kavanagh)

Pub Crawl / Day Sesh – Starting at The Gravediggers Pub, Dublin – Home of Ireland’s Perfect pint of Guinness 🍻 🇮🇪

John Kavanagh’s pub, also known as “The Gravediggers,” a famous Dublin pub adjacent to Glasnevin Cemetery. The nickname comes from its history, as gravediggers used to get pints through a window connecting to the cemetery wall. It is renowned for its traditional atmosphere and for pouring what many consider Ireland’s best pint of Guinness. The Gravediggers in Glasnevin, County Dublin was founded in 1833 and is perhaps one of the longest generational pubs in Ireland. It is very often you will find three generations of Kavanaghs behind the bar with no music playing, no HD TVs and where conversation is most important.

Location: Prospect Square, Glasnevin, Dublin.
