As 2025 draws to a close, the Indo Daily team sat down to review the year that was in Ireland from politics to sport, from music to news.
One of the major stories that touched both politics, sport and more was the Presidential Election. From Catherine Connolly’s victory via an impressive campaign supported by a left-alliance to Fianna Fáil’s disastrous Jim Gavin campaign and Fine Gael’s pretty tame effort with Heath Humphreys, the race to the Áras had no shortage of talking points.
