A teacher heavily involved in the pro-Palestine movement in Ireland has said it is vital to teach Irish students about the human suffering in Gaza in the current day, or there would be very little point in learning about history at all.
Siobhain Grogan teaches maths at Gaelcholáiste Chill Dara in Naas, Co Kildare, an Irish secondary school where, she said, “Gaeilge and human rights, especially Palestine right now, are priorities”.
