Clontibret in County Monaghan definitely knows how to put on a vintage show.
This year they were aiming to get 80 Ferguson 20s together to celebrate 80 years of Ferguson, but that’s only a small part of what made the day special. From steam engines and tug of war to birds of prey, classic machinery and plenty of unforgettable characters, there was something happening everywhere you looked.
These local shows are about far more than tractors. They’re about the people, the stories, the laughs and the community that keeps them going.
A huge thank you to everyone at the Monaghan Vintage & Veteran Club for the warm welcome and all the hard work that goes into organising a day like this.
