The row over legal aid fees is continuing, with solicitors warning the system has effectively ground to a halt.
The dispute centres on a new €520 flat fee for District Court cases, which solicitors say is unworkable, as a growing court backlog leaves victims and defendants waiting.
Criminal defence solicitors staged a walkout at the Criminal Courts of Justice today, after deciding to extend their withdrawal of services into September.
