I am a 63-year-old South African living in Ireland with COPD. My ultimate mission is to raise funds to fight world hunger, starting with the most vulnerable.100% of the cash from my roadside bottle and can collection goes directly to charity to feed hungry children. At the same time, I am buying extra tinned food little by little during my weekly grocery shopping to build a heap of food for an Irish charity to help local people in need. I am still struggling heavily to quit smoking, but I am fighting for my lungs every single day. My dream is to get a touring bicycle and cycle the brutal West Coast of Africa all the way to Cape Town to bring global attention to the fight against world hunger.
