‘We need aggressive enforcement!’ – Calls for immediate scrambler ban in Dáil

During Leaders Questions on Wednesday, the Taoiseach insisted the hands of An Garda Síochána are not tied behind their backs when dealing with the issue of scramblers.

In response to questions from Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald about the enforcement capabilities of the Gardaí in relation to the use of scramblers, Mr Martin said the force have “significant powers”.

McDonald had called for “aggressive, rigorous enforcement” to get scramblers off Irish roads.
