“Wearing Clothes once and Dumping them” Laura de Barra explains how we need to tackle fast Fashion

<h2>Wear out in our Planet</h2> “You will be dead before the garments that you have bought and worn once, wear out in our planet.”   Laura de Barra explains how she saw the fashion industry changing towards fast fashion and how “the customer needs to slow down”.   She talks about how it was the customer’s demand for fashion at a really cheap price that changed the industry because people didn’t expect high quality anymore.   Laura mentions how the customer has changed and is now wearing clothes for “photographs and posting on social media” and as a result the industry is “less design and more consumption”.   She recounts how she would be shown a picture of one of the Kardashians and told “people want to wear this”.   Credit to : Virgin Media Television
