White Hill, Djouce and War Hill ,Co Wicklow

This trail sits on the edge of Wicklow Mountains National Park, leading up to Djouce Mountain and on to War Hill. The route starts at the car park in Ballinastoe Woods and follows part of the long-distance Wicklow Way to White Hill. From there, it veers towards Djouce before descending to War Hill, where the trail retraces its steps.
Be cautious on the rougher sections, especially in wet weather. Sturdy footwear is essential, and waterproofs, windproofs, and gaiters are highly recommended โ€” particularly for the boggy climb up War Hill.
we were lucky the rain held off on this walk. The scenery is spectacular, the wind bracing, and the company was great. For me, hikes like this do wonders for my mental health โ€” if anything it will blow the cobwebs away, itโ€™s this trail.
