Electric buses being rolled out in Limerick
55 state-of-the-art double-deck electric buses are being rolled out in Limerick today, as part of a 54 million euro investment by the National Transport Authority.
It’s the first electric regional city bus fleet in the county and aims to provide more than 2 million emission-free kilometres across city services, every year.
