Today I take a look at the news from Green Party Leader and Minister for the Environment Eamon Ryan that in order to secure our energy continuity we actually will have to buy-in to LNG Storage (despite the long standing opposition to LNG from his own party), in the form of a storage ship, and we’ll all have to pay for it in the form of a new tax on our energy bills. An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is also on board with the idea: it’s not like Fine Gael to oppose a new tax now is it?
