</p> <h2>Plans to reform the TV Licence Fee here in Ireland</h2> <p> Today I take a look at the plans to reform the TV Licence Fee here in Ireland, in the wake of the RTÉ and Ryan Tubridy payments scandal. Instead of actually reforming the entity that caused the wasted of public money, ie RTÉ, the government seem happy to finally plough ahead with the reforms that RTÉ have long wanted. The reforms will see the licence fee being collected via Revenue as a “broadcasting charge”.
